Tefal TT7041

Excellent toaster (until today), but when I was inserting a slice of toast this morning, a sudden flash erupted after I had pushed down the lever and now I have a dead toaster! As I have only had this toaster for just over a year (I bought it at the start of September 2008 and started using it in October of the same year), I am not happy at all! As it is out of warranty and getting a toaster repaired is more expensive than buying a new one, it looks like I will have to get a new one. I am uncertain whether to get another Tefal Avanti if the same problem could potentially occur.
