Advantages: Wide slots, high lift levers, toast from frozen
Disadvantages: None
This toaster is the best.
Shame I have to write more, but that essentially is it.
OK, the detail:
My family and I eat lots of toasted products for breakfast and, consequently, we needed a good four slot toaster. Unfortunately, before we found this one, we tried inferior products which kept on breaking.
This toaster has the added advantage of having the extra wide slots, which allows you to cut your bread as thick or as thin as you like or toast your baguel without having that 'force it into the toaster' feeling and then watch it burn.
Also, to avoid burning your fingers, or using a knife to get your toast out of it, this toaster has extra levers (those two in the middle on the front of it) to lift the toast higher so that you can take it out.
There has been much thought given to the design of this toaster - i.e. the slots slope at a slight angle, so that your toast can pop up nicely.
There are independent browning controls for the two pairs of slots and a 'toast from frozen' button which we also find extremely useful - especially when our youngest wants jam on toast and we've only got bread in the freezer!!
Do I work for Tefal? No.
Would I recommend this toaster? Most definitely, yes.
Have been asked to clarify a couple of points:
1. Price - I paid between £40-£50 for this (however, I know it's cheaper than this now)
2. Size - it is quite a large toaster and does occupy quite a bit of space - dimensions are: 24.5x30x28 (H/W/D) cm
Summary: Great toaster which makes breakfast a lot easier than it used to be.
