Advantages: works great, lots of different uses, cheap
Disadvantages: none
As a student and also a mother of four children, I am constantly looking for cheaper solutions to suit my busy lifestyle. It is very hard in the morning for me getting the kids ready for school, especially when the only thing the kids will eat is toast and Nutella for breakfast. I always hated my old toaster because it only cooked two slices at a time. And, of course, with me having the hungriest kids in the world, they want two slices teach and nothing else. I also hated my old toaster as it was white which did not clash with my kitchen and it was so slow. I thought it was definitely time for a new toaster, and for the first time ever in my life, I bought a product after reading it on Dooyoo (I'm so proud of myself).
I actually went to buy this, then I realised it was the wrong one from what I read on Dooyoo. So I had to take it back quite embarrassed and ask for a new one. I thought it was at a fantastic price of £20, and it is basically two toasters in one.
*aesthetics*
The toaster is a lovely silver colour that looks modern and goes with most kitchens. It is stainless steel as you can figure by the name and looks very expensive in my opinion. It has a black area around on it where it has the heat control and the little leaver which are grey. I have had people complimenting on my toaster since I bought it, and they have been very shocked to hear it is Tesco's own brand.
*Use*
Each of the little bread bits (sorry for not speaking high-tech) is pretty wide meaning it can handle most types of bread from thin to thick. There is two controllers which is great as Kayeligh likes her toast as white as a ghost and Noah won't accept his unless it's black and the smoke alarm has been set off. There are two controllers and you can change the heat from 1 - 7. You also have a defrost option and reheat options which as a busy person I haven't really bothered with but it's great if you like to freeze your bread or else your kids take too long to come and get their toast and it goes cold.
*cleaning*
I'm a clean freak and you'll be glad to know this doesn't actually need much cleaning. The stainless steel never usually lets materials stick to it very much so you don't need to clean it that often. There is also a crumb tray which really does most of the work for you, I never find that the inside gets dirty at all which is a huge bonus as I have enough of a house to clean without scrubbing the inside of toasters.
Final opinion:
I think this is a great toaster that fits people with busy lifestyles like me and especially houses with lots of kids. There is a variety of options that allows you to do more with the toaster than just your usual such as defrost and reheat and these sort of ideas are what people like me need. It is also suited for students who live on the income of part-time jobs and therefore don't have much money, priced at only £20 I think it's a great investment and I definitely recommend it.
