I'm a great lover of toast and will often cook it for myself and someone else at the same time, but hate having to toast two pieces of bread then wait for more to cook, leaving the original slices to go cold. For this reason, I decided to buy this 4 Slice Stainless Steel Toaster as a bit of an impulse buy when I saw it in my local Tescos.

Retailing at around £15 - £20 (including a 12 month warranty), I would say that this is a good value addition to anybody's kitchen. Having never bought a toaster before I wasn't sure how much exactly I wanted to spend on one, but there are plenty of 2 slice toasters selling for around the same price, whereas this one was the only one I could see that would solve my cold toast dilemmas!

The best feature of this toaster is the fact that there are two separate heat settings, each one determining how well-cooked two slices of bread will be. This is great for my household, as my family like burnt toast, and would hate to have to eat my barely cooked 'warm bread'!

Aesthetically, this toaster isn't perfect: it's a little bulky and isn't the most expensive-looking piece of kitchen equipment ever. Nonetheless, the black and silver colouring makes it look modern and I'd imagine it would make an attractive addition to a lot of kitchens. Unfortunately the plastic buttons and levers do make it look a little cheap, but I suppose at £15-20 what do you expect.

Overall, I'd say that this is a good value budget toaster, which, most importantly, makes 4 fantastic slices of toast with minimal effort.
