I thought for £4.47 for a kitchen appliance you can't go wrong. I don't toast bread much so this was just for 'just in case'. But I have to admit that this is the worst toaster I have ever used. It is a two slice toaster from Tesco's value range.

Price-
It was £4.47 when I bought it but is now increased to £5.97 but I didn't think it was worth even for the older price.

Features-
-2 slice toaster
-Can be cancelled midway through toasting
-The toast can be lifted- has a high lift facility- quite handy in this toaster as the bread slice always seems to get stuck
-Comes with a removable crumb tray

Disadvantages-
-First of all, the toaster takes a while to get heated up, so if you are in a hurry to have a toast in the morning, then this isn't your solution.
-The bread looks unevenly toasted- some places gets burnt and some will still be whitish.
-While taking the bread out, it is quite uneasy- lot of crumbs fall out. And the crumb tray which can be taken out does collect the crumbs but isn't easy to clean.
-The size is a little small so can't put the big bread slices without breaking them.
-As always in the value range, it is white colour. if something splashes on the outer wall, it is not easy to remove the stains.

Advantages-
-Cheap
-Can toast crumpets

Although i paid only under a fiver, i still think it is a waste of money. I will not recommend this to anyone, sorry tesco- one of your worst products.
