Advantages: smooth, affordable, not weighed down with moisture

Disadvantages: Bad for your health!

This is a fine smooth blend of virginia hand rolling tobaccos produced by Richard Lloyd & Sons. Since this tobacco has come onto the market I have never changed brand. It provides a smooth, mellow and enjoyable smoke and it's not too strong or weak, it's just right (for me anyway!). It is also not weighed down by too much moisture, as a lot of other tobaccos are, and it is the best value for money that you will get in most tobacconists in the UK.

Two great features of this tobacco are the facts that you can buy a 12.5 gram pouch which comes inside a box, very much like a standard cigarette box and the fact that you get a free pack of rolling papers with it. Yes, that's right! Rolling papers are provided for your convenience.

As with all tobacco, the higher volume pack that you buy the cheaper it will cost. Amber Leaf is definitely the best value for money though with a 12.5 gram (half ounce) packet retailing at approximately £2.55.

Summary: best tobacco on the market in the UK
