Advantages: Fun, Striking
Disadvantages: Any form of smoking is a disadvantage
I know smoking is a very bad habit and being a smoker myself I am still trying to stop. A long time ago whilst in transit at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam I visited the Duty Free shop and naturally went to the cigarette section to buy a carton of my favourite brand. I came across a brand called "Sobraine". They had one which was totally black in colour with a Gold painted filter tip and named "Black Russian". They also had another one which had a total of five different colours each with Gold painted tips and the colours being pink, purple, yellow, light green and turquoise blue. These were named "Cocktail". I just could resist buying a carton of each and did manage to get through customs at Heathrow without being stopped otherwise I would have had to pay a bomb in duties. I used to take these with me whenever I went to a party or out on Saturday night and none of my friends could resist having one (those who smoke). They cost double of what you would normally pay for a pack of Rothmans or B&H. So if your a smoker and want to have a bit of a laugh when your out at parties etc when try and get your hands on some of these. PS. I ticked the box "Would you recommend this to a friend" as "Yes" but that is provided he was a smoker.

- 09/05/02 you can get coloured 'cocktail' cigarettes and the black and gold from nat sherman. they use all natural tobacco and taste very good. i live in london and ordered a carton from www.natsherman.com the packaging and the look of the cigarettes is a head turnar at parties. i prefer the classics as the coloured ones for a lad look a bit weird |

- 11/04/02 I wish I had read this opinion earlier....I was in Amsterdam the week before last and would have loved to have got hold of some! They sound like a bit of a party accessory! |

- 03/06/01 I used to buy these for my mum for mothers day..I thought they were the height of sophistication! I remember buying them from lewis's in Manchester when I was no more than 9 years old!!(obviously well before the laws on selling cigarettes to children!) |
