A couple of weeks ago I received my package from the Nat Sherman company of New York - a carton of five packs of Nat Sherman Classic cigarettes.

Opening them I discovered the awesome packaging, Each box flips open to reveal tissue paper rather like a box of fine begian chocolates. Each ten was separated by a layer of card with the monogram of the Nat Sherman comapny.

Each cigarette had a cork filter with gold and red bands on it giving the impression that they were someting special.

Lighting one I discovered the rich smoke was like the difference between fine belgian chocolates and say Milk Tray. There are no cigarettes sold in England that come close to these.

They are hand made from all natural tobacco, so there are no additives. However they light and burn easily though not too fast.

Like anything luxurious they are expensive, at $39.50 a carton of five pack plus air mail, makes them roughly six quid a pack.
