Crafe Away Mini Filters

Advantages: Erm

Disadvantages: I don't know what they are meant to do really, tricky to use

When it comes to rolling my cigarettes thats what I usually do to save myself a few quid a week lol. I don't normally use any kind of filter but recently a friend treated me to some of these when she got herself some as they were in offer in a local Poundlound at of course a pound!

The Packaging:

The filters come in long plastic style box with a see-through section to the middle of it as you that you can see some of the filters through it and the rest of it is dark blue, red and green in colour and on the front of it we are told that they are Crafe Area Mini Filters 'For a safer cigarette, to effectively reduce your intake of tar and nicotine' and that my plastic box contains 10 disposable cigarette filters. On the back of the box other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and contact details for Good Life Products LTD (the manufacturer of the product) are given. The box is a slide apart one to open it and and to close and all in all is informative enough.

What Is The Purpose Of The Filters?

All you do with these filters is to pop one in the end of a roll your own cigarettes. Doing this is simply an art, it is fairly large and cylinder in shape and made of see-through plastic with an orange coloured marker in the middle of it. Larger to one end of it we are shown on the back of the box by way of a diagram on how to do use it but the large end does go into the main part of the cigarette. Being rather thick in size I do find them tricky to roll into my cigarette and to get the to stay put but eventually I do but they do resemble elephant leg sized fags!

The taste using these is harsher and not as smooth as I'm used to. Your meant to use one filter for between 5-10 cigarettes and when the colour marker is completely gone it really is time to change it.

However not only is it tricky to use this, this is meant to not alter the taste of the cigarette and it does and it is meant to create a smokeless cigarette to help you give up or quit smoking and I have to admit this seems to be pointless to me. Whether or not your not getting any nicotine or tar in your system, I just don't know! I can taste a harsher flavour, they do last about 10 cigarettes a time but apart from making sure that no bits of tobacco enter my mouth I wouldn't be purchasing these in the future!

Not for me these but cost about £1.00 for a box of ten in places like Wilkinson's and tobacco kiosks or google them if interested.

Summary: Rubbish in my humble opinions!
