The nicest rolling tobacco (Drum)
Advantages: Yummy taste, good nicotine delivery Disadvantages: Hassle of rolling Drum has now become my first choice for rolling baccy. It has the strength to provide a good nicotine hit, the consistency to make rolling relatively easy, and a really nice smell and taste - it actually tastes like tobacco, unlike Golden Virginia which to me tastes like chemicals. I've usually only smoked rollies in desperation when I haven't had the cash for 'proper' fags, but about six months ago I bought my first bag of Drum, and I liked it enough that I now smoke it fairly regularly in addition to my normal diet of 40-60 marlboro reds a day. Rolling a fag can be a very satisfying experience, and definitely provides a nice change if you smoke as much as I do. Plus of course there are financial advantages, and Drum is reasonably priced even compared to other rolling tobacco. Of course there are the disadvantages that go with any rollies (the time taken to roll one, a stronger smell, bits of baccy that seem to go everywhere etc) which is why I couldn't switch full-time, but Drum certainly hits most of the right buttons in my opinion. Summary: Good quality, good value |
