Drum.... well...
Usually I smoke Golden Virginia or Cutters Choice, but one day, when I was low on funds, I went and bought a 12.5g pouch of Drum...
First off theres the flavour, in my opnion it has a much better flavour than cutters choice but not as good as golden virginia, it tastes slightly perfumed to me, but still holds the faithfull taste of large cut tobacco.
Which brings me onto my next point, the fact that it is large cut may cause some problems for the less skilled roller, especially if using sheer papers like Rizzla blue.
Drum is also very cheap, so far it's the cheapest tobacco I've come across, usually between £1.90 - £2.60 for 1/4 ounce (12.5g) so if you're low on funds and desperate for a smoke, Drum is the way to go.
One down point for Drum though is the harshness, esepecially for Irregular/1st time smokers. It is a lot harsher on the throat than any other tobacco. (except maybe Old Holborn). It's like, the camel fags of the roll-up world if you will.
Another good point is it's strength, you don't need to roll very fat cigarettes to get the desired nicotine hit, usually 2-4 skimpy roll-ups would get me through the day.
It also has this handly little sticky pad inside the pouch to keep your rolling papers.
Overall I like Drum, it's not my favourite, but it's good quality tobacco, I'd reccomend it to you hardcore people out there, looking for a stronger, harsher tobacco :)
Summary: Great tobacco for people lacking funds and looking for a stronger smoke.
