I was in Paris and bought some it's like the old dunhill internationals but with gold lining and black box however it's 10 tar and 1 nicotine. I wonder when they will be avaliavble because they tase so much better then the red internationals with silver lining. Batfrance didn't reply to me so I guess I have to run around Paris tabacs at 6.70 euros it's not cheap but gets lots of looks just so we are clear I am not talking about the lousy dunhill fine cut in king size. I am saying that in France there is a new dunhill international in black box with gold lining and tastes better then the current red box with silverlining
I have been smoking for more years than I care to imagine now, and although I will normally smoke Benson and Hedges silver, if ever I want a treat I will buy myself a packet of Dunhill. They are often more expensive than my usual brand, sometimes coming up to £6 wheras I would usually pay £5, but they are so much smoother and nicer to smoke. They are what is known as a 'luxury' brand of cigarette, and are sold mainly in America, although they can be found in England at specialist tobacco shops and occasional off licenses. Dunhill boasts that all their cigarettes are made entirely from Virgina tobacco, which is one of the high grade tobacco's. It has Tar 10 mg and Nicotine 0.9 mg which is a fairly high amount...another reason why I use it as a treat now and then! This isn't actually so surprising considering that the manufacturers also make camel cigarettes and they are very harsh on your throat. The packaging of Dunhill cigarettes alone is quite magnificent, the deep red colour is an immediate suggestion of quality, particularly with the glossy style. But inside the packet they have a very fancy resealable gold wrapping which also adds to the luxury branding. I know that cigarettes are not the most fashionable thing to review nowadays, but Dunhill are an exceptional brand. If you don't smoke, don't try it...if you do then you might as well have a look.
I have smoked Dunhill International for a number of years.Have to agree the new product is less than desirable..the "taste" is more akin to Silk Cut.God knows what the lights are like probably get a hernia dragging on one?Sadly I will not be purchasing this brand in future as they are a waste of time and effort.I am totallydissatisfied..do they have a complaints section on one of the sites or are they all goods related.Maybe I have to express my displeasure to Singapore..they are not cheap but have become so.Sorry but thats it for me.
The "new" Singapore Dunhill cigarettes are an absolute insult to the Dunhill moniker. Either bring back the original UK timeless classic or retire the brand with dignity.
Having just returned from a holiday in the U S A,Where the only English cigarettes I could obtain were Dunhill International, having smoked them a few years ago, I was very disapointed in the quality, satisfaction, and taste.I found that they continually went out and had to be relighted, also the ends kept falling off. On further investigation on looking at the packet I found that they were now being made in Singapore, Is this anything to do with the very poor quality of the new Dunhill cigarettes ?. I brought 400 cigarettes from the duty-free shop in Orlando and feel I have totally wasted my money. Considering Dunhill are one of the most expensive cigarettes on the market I feel they are no better than roll-up's.I suggest you consider making Dunhill the way you did before you started making them in Singapore !!. After all the customer is always right or so we are led to believe .
The new repackaged Dunhills are nowhere near as good as the old ones. I had smoked the Dunhill "blue" cigarettes while living in the US and Africa and enjoyed them. Suddenly they disappeared from the US market this year, without explanation. Lately, the "new" Red and Blue packs have reappeared. I have tried both. I no longer like them and cannot smoke them. Did this have to do with making them in Singapore? Too bad.
Wow!! My experience of cigarettes is that they are often harsh, leave a bitter taste in the mouth and are not very smooth. I have smoked Malboro, Marlboro Lights, Marlboro filters. My experience of cigarettes was so bad that I turned to smoking cigarillos at one point. However, a friend of the family told me that my father used to smoke ONLY dunhill cigarettes when he was younger(in his 20s like me). So I gave them a go. They taste SO good!! they don't leave a bitter taste in mouth, and are SO smooth they are almost creamy. You can tell these cigarettes were made to be a COMPLETE pleasure. Hunter Thompson's favourite cigarettes live up to expectations!!!(I have yet to try Sobraine and Davidoff cigarettes).
I am Greek, i smoke Dunhill since 1998! My aunt who smoked them(well, now he is dead, but NOT for smoking) told me that "if you are a smoker, just smoke the best" and he was wright Dunhill WAS the best cigarette i had ever tasted........ Before 1 year BAT decided to "kill" Dunhill, changed the pack and tobacco,so now is just another cig ..... the old luxury quillity is gone
Well the most royal cigeratte i have ever smoked. Packaging is royal, taste is absolutely brilliant . i should say its the no. 1 POSH cigeratte. Also has a unique slim and hard structure. in my opinon the best royal cigeratte. Has a lighter effect on the throat then Benson & Hedges, Marlboro Lights or Red. Price is competitive as compared to B&H Marlboro Lights , RED.... and hey its unique placement of 10 10 cigerattes gives an advantage of how much ur smoking the closed one retains its freshness. Well i feel no difficulty in placing in my jeans pocket they r fit everywhere.. and hey dunhill aren't old men cigeratte i have seen many teens and young adults smoking dunhill
The packaging says it all - rich, stylish, sophisticated and luxurious. I used to be a Benson & Hedges smoker but realised that if I were to smoke, I may as be more of a connoiseur and smoke these. The tobacco blend is a kind of virginia like Benson & Hedges, for example rather than turkish or light American blend like, say Marlboro Lights. Dunhill are rich and flavoursome. The box is different as well it is flatter than most boxes and has foil wraps over two sections, each containing ten cigarettes, the advantage being that one can open ten at a time to keep the other ten fresh. The disadvantage being that they won't fit in your jean pockets - hey, but if you smoke these you won't be wearing jeans. The length of the cigarette is between 100's and king size, so you have the coolness of each drag due to the longer size. On the filter there are small perforations, so you can cover these with you lips to regulate the richness of the puff. These are in my opinion the best full strength cigarette in the UK - sadly one cannot get Nat Sherman cigarettes in the UK (the best cigarette experience EVER)
