Having smoked for nearly 12 years I recently converted and switched to rolling tobacco. I switched at first between Drum and this but found this to have a much milder and mellow flavour. I started smoking when i was around 18 just before i went to University and have now been a smoker for around 12 years. I began smoking cigarettes and when i reached University i realised that due to the cost of a pack of 20 it was impossible to smoke them so i needed a cheaper alternative. I therefore thought id try rolling tobacco, at first i didnt like it and i tried pretty much every brand i could in a attempt to find the answer i was looking for. I first started smoking Old Holborn and i found that a bit moist and therefore kept going out all the time, i then tried Cutters Choice and Amber Leaf which im pretty sure is just made up of floor ...  Read the complete review

Ones upon a time,a year or two ago, Golden Virginia was really a superb tobacco, superior to all of the other products on the market, but today, today is just an ordinary product among the others! Why? Well, GV was known of its superior teste and aroma and now it has gone...Today,you'll never know what you will get, sometimes (most of the time) it is dry without any taste or well known aroma, like i smoke a few years old tobacco and maybe it really is so old, i don't know... I remember the days when i was enjoing in first cigarette in the morning and the last at midnight, there was no difference, like i was on some kind of drugs but now, it just dry my throat out! ...  Read the complete review

Although I occasionally indulge in rolling tobacco, mainly out of image more than anything else, I have always been a branded cigarette man. This is because I struggle to find a reasonably priced brand of tobacco that's suits my palette, as I find most of them way too strong. However, this brand may be on to something. Golden Virginia, which I always mispronounce as Morning Virginia for my own bizarre reasons, is a fine cut rolling tobacco, and one my current favourites. Although on the rare occasions I do roll I like to settle for cheaper brands, such as Drum, the high quality and pleasant aroma of Golden Virginia makes it worth the price tag. I'm going to have to admit to the fact that I am a smoker, and have smoked since I was around 15 I am now 31 so I don't have to tell you how long! I used to smoke tailor made cigarettes such as the well known brand Lambert & Butler. I probably smoke between 10 and 20 a day it depends what I am doing, at around £5.12 a packet I was finding the cost too expensive, I felt bad enough that I smoked without spending a large amount of our income on cigarettes. I decided to changed my smoking brand and go onto rolling tobacco as it is much cheaper, here are my thoughts. The tobacco I decided to buy was Golden Virginia purely as this was the only brand ...  Read the complete review
