Ooh, I love Golden Virginia! I smoked B+H for years (70p for 10!), then as the prices went up, the quality of the brand I smoked went down until I could only afford them awful, cough your guts up ciggies (mind you, when you offered them around, no-one took one!) at the back of the displays. I then tried pretty much all of the brands of tobacco and put up with the weird looks I got whilst rolling my own, (I'm a woman and I started smoking roll ups 11 years ago and it really wasn't the done thing). I found people would look almost sadly at me and always offer me a "real" ciggie. ;) On nights out, dressed up, I had to conform and "treat myself" to a packet of cigs....many people said..."You can't go out dressed up like that and then roll your own, it's not very ladylike!" Oh how times have changed! Everyone I know now smokes roll ups, it's not looked down upon and the idea that it's an "old man's" choice of smoking material has gone now too.
Here's a tip, smoke it with a menthol filter, it's delicious! ;)
Also, I've given up giving up. Mind you, if the only tobacco you could get was Drum, then I'd give up in an instant! :@
