Advantages: smooth taste, easy on the throat.

Disadvantages: quite expensive

Golden Virginia tobacco is probably the most popular rolling tobacco in the United Kingdom, and many other parts of Europe today. It has been amde in England since 1877. In my opinion it is definately the smoothest tobacco, and the nicest to smoke. The older packaging was a bright green colour, bordered with yellow and gold. The packaging nowadays is more of a metallic green colour but still with the original yellow and gold borders. In recent years health warnings such as 'smoking kills' and 'smoking can damage the sperm and decreases fertility' have been added to the tobacco pouches. Even more recently, in the last year images have been added to go along with the health warnings. The tobacco pouches come in three weights: 12.5 grams. 25 grams and 50 grams. Unlike some other hand rolling tobacco's, Golden Virginia has a smooth texture and isn't harsh on the back of the throat. It also has much less of an overpowering smell. Golden Virginia is definately my prefferred choice of rolling tobacco!
