Advantages: cheap, nice and smooth, not too harsh

Disadvantages: bad reputation, ignore it!

I was about 13 when i tried my first cigarette. I remember, one day after school there was an older boy who my sister was friends with, and he said to me, "wanna try a bit?" Being the fool i am, i willingly tried the cigarette, what a rush! The feeling you get when you try it for the first time is amazing!

Anyway, thats enough about me, lets talk about the product. Richmond are a reasonably cheap cigarette, but by no means do they taste poorly made, nor is the tobacco dry. These cigarettes are really rather nice. Not too harsh on the throat, yet strong enough to give you that kick of nicotine all of us smokers crave so much.

The box looks classy, they are available in superking, and a pack of 20 costs around £3.89, so they are really good value. They are made by "The House Of John Player", but they are nothing like the original JPS. They are harsh and the tobacco seems very dry leaving you with an awful feeling in your throat.

Overall, i recommend these cigarettes to anyone who enjoys quite a casual smoke, but enjoys that kick which lighter cigarettes seem not to give. Go and give them a try!

Wouldn't recommend (smoking) myself and it doesn't sound good value to me - at 20 a day that works out over 27 quid a week or over 1400 quid a year. Might as well just set fire to bank notes!
