Advantages: nicotine fix, cheap
Disadvantages: deadly
Lambert and butler are cigarettes and despite what various tobacco companies say on their websites (nonetheless with disclaimers claiming the information is not always true) Cigarettes are deadly. Now that thats out of the way lets get down to business shall we.
L and B are manurfactuerd by imperial tobacco, one of the largest tobacco companies in the world. Lambert & Butler are the UK's best selling cigarette brand and also the biggest fast moving consumer goods brand in the UK. So undoubtly its big business for these guys.
At around £4.50 for 20 death sticks its also big business for the tax man. And this means an expensive addiction for the consumer. Compared to other brands L and B are about average, there are cheaper cigs but they are far too nasty.
With 0.9 mg of nicotine these do deliver a hit, so those who need the hit will not be disappointed. L&B are nice and smooth, not too harsh. If you are used to smoking stronger cigs then they will probably not be strong enough for you. The downside of these cigarettes is that they also contain tar, benzine and lots of other nasties.
Well i could talk about the downside of cigarettes all day but this is not the aim of this review. If you dont want to experience the negatives then don't smoke.
Summary: Smoking kills, but we all die sometime.

- 14/10/06 I don't get it, do you actually smoke? Or is this an underhand anti-smoking campaign? |

- 23/07/06 Not an ex smoker but i do what i do knowing it isn't necessarily sensible, which is fine. I don't think glamourising it would have been a good approach though |
