Lambert and Butler "Lights" or "Gold" as they are called now due to restrictions on using the name "Light" or "Mild" on cigarette packages are an average cigarette. I smoked L&B King Size, but I really wanted to try the gold ones for a lighter smoke, I was not impressed. These do not seem to hold any quality compared to L&B King size, they taste cheap and nasty and are not a particularly pleasant smoke. I feel that these burn horribly and although they are smoother than King Size, simply put, they are not as good or nice to smoke. Now that I am on Smooth brands I will probably switch to ... i know they're meant to be nicer to smoke than L&B King Size, but they just make me feel sick. the packaging looks less attractive too. they feel like they're doing more damage than the King Size anyway. These fags give me a headache... do not buy! if you want good "lights", buy Richmond Smooth (which come in Superkings :D) or even Mayfair Smooth. L&B may be the best selling cigarette brand in the UK, but i'm sure thats not down to ... Read the complete review

L&B lights are great, they are cheap, smokeable and a nice golden colour (which signifies that you are really rich!!) My boyfriend comes from quite a posh family and is a typical Marlboro Lights smoker(you know the kind i mean). when we first met, he took me to a fairly posh resturant, imagine his disgust when i plonk my trusty L&B's on the table.
