dan_w Lucky Strike Filter: ... Lucky Strike, affectionately known as "luckies". These little sticks of joy come in several formats, but only two seem particularly prominent in the UK: Lucky Strike Red (Tar 10mg, Nicotine 0.8mg) - These are the original full strength filters and my preferred kind of luckies. Lucky Strike Silver (Tar 7mg, Nicotine 0.6mg) - Lights, for those of you who live by the motto "less (carcinogens) is mo...

... the many years I was a student, sneakily puffing away on an illicit cigarette, my many cohorts and I dreamed of the Luckies. They re toasted doncha know? The Packaging The Lucky Strike packaging never ceases to amaze me. ... found these in a shop in Cyprus (on holiday) when looking for a pack of Marlboro Reds...so cheap I couldn't refuse....I now alternate between Marlboro Reds and Luckies...and to be honest I prefer Lucky Strikes...it's that 'toasted' flavour!...I enjoy them not just because they satisfy the nicotine craving but because of the flavour too... Very expensive in Wales...but when I have the money to spare I always buy them...they don't seem to hurt the back of your throat as much as Marlboro's...and are much more distinctive when smoking with friends!....if you like that sort of image...lol. Could be my imagination but they don't seem to last ...
