Advantages: The best Damn cigarettes there are
Disadvantages: Sadly more expensive
After Silk Cut I had to search for an alternative brand to smoke. I was too used to smooth cigarettes so I couldn't go back to smoking the likes of L & B. So in the garage whilst going to purchase cigarettes I notice Marlboro Lights. I say to myself, "These could be good, I guess I'll try them out as they are a bit cheaper than Silk Cut." So as you can guess I tried them, they weren't as smooth as Silk Cut but they were smooth enough and then I loved them. I was on these from summer '99 through to a large amount of lower sixth form and didn't stop until January 2000. Yes these ultimately were my most favourite cigarettes and I never loved any other brand more than I did these. Marlboro Lights, they went down your throat smooth but they were strong enough to give you a headrush anyday. I had always hated giving cigarettes away to those in urgent need but with these I hated it even more. I can sadly say that between myself and whatever my current pack of 20 Marlboro Lights was, there was a bond. I constantly remembered the lyrics "Keeps his cigarettes close to his heart!" from a Nirvana song. That's what I done too, I kept these cigarettes close to me constantly and always bought another pack before I ran out of the current pack. Sadly my frenzie with Marlboro Lights came to an end when I was hard up on cash and needed to convert to the old harsh cigarettes or if you will, the cheaper cigarettes.

The Operator - 09/05/01 They used to make my breath smell like I'd eaten dog cack and what's worse, I could smell it. Give up now before it's too late. |
