... dry and throaty and I can't say it was a particularly pleasant experience, sure there was a lemon flavour but it seemed more like the flavour of lemon rinds that the fruit itself, not lively, zesty or fruity but a rather dumbed down version of the citrus fruit.
Nakhla tobacco can be relatively pricey in Europe as it's considered to be one of the better brands, I wouldn't bother forking out on it, if you get some over in Egypt then it may be worth the experiment but I don't recommend it....more

When it comes to Shisha tobacco, apple may well be "last year" but the reason I like it so much is because no other flavour surpasses it. I had a lemon flavoured sheesha once in Jordan because someone else ordered it, I wasn't impressed then but having received a free box of Nakhla Lemon flavoured, I thought I'd give the Egyptian brand a swirl. The citrus fruit flavoured molasses tobacco smells wonderful when you get into the package, unfortunately the smell doesn't seem a good way of mesauring taste, I burnt up a fairly large portion of it and it took a while for the flavour to kick in and when it did it was short-lived.
