Advantages: Organic, Ethical, Additive-free
Disadvantages: None
First things first: organic tobacco does not make for a healthier smoke.
Phew. Now that's out of the way I can tell you my personal opinion, which is that tobacco grown without weedkillers and processed without additives is a tobacco I trust rather more with my health.
I try to be an ethical consumer. Pueblo is grown by Native Americans the old-fashioned way. It's harvested by hand, dried naturally and contains no additives at all. Apart from the air miles, it scores a ten on every point :)
As it doesn't contain humectants - added to keep 'normal' tobacco moist in the pack - it's dry by comparison: it doesn't have that sticky texture. I find it's a big advantage in hand-rolling as the baccy doesn't 'clump'.
Because of this, Pueblo's also good for use with tube systems like Concept.
Pueblo is medium strength. Due to the lack of perfume, it feels like quite a strong smoke but you get used to it so quickly that I now find perfumed tobaccos quite revolting!
Call me shallow, but I love the packaging too ;)
Pueblo's not widely available yet but most online tobacconists sell it, including my favourite Jenny at www.theherefordtobacconist.co.uk.
She charges £6.10 for 30gm (December 2008)
Summary: Drier than treated tobacco, unperfumed, offers feel-good factor
