      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      An excellent all round paper

Rizla blue are the mid of the range papers, not too thin to roll easilly but not too thick to give a nasty taste. They really are a good all rounder and something with which to perfect your rolling technique.

      Thickness:
Blue Rizla are a Light graded paper, thin enough to just about see through but not almost invisible like silvers. This gives an easier roll with a nice taste, although those of you who are new to rolling may have trouble with stability. Theese papers are long burning so will not go out straight away but due to thier thinness will produce less ash than thicker papers.

      Length:
At 108mm long theese are 8mm longer than Kingsize reds but still marginally shorter than silvers. This is a good length of paper for smoking to yourself or even for sharing with others.

      Width:
Measuring 44mm theese papers are not as wide as others but be warned they are also not the skinniest, this will often lead to the wrap around of extra paper on thinner rolls but due to the thinner nature of the paper this will not be too unpleasent to smoke.

The ArabicGum used in theese papers vegetable based and the thin nature of the paper almost gaurentees a good stick everytime. Although not as good as say Zig-Zag glue (yet what is) theese papers will certainly do the trick.

      Pack size:
As with all Rizla kingsize there are 32 papers in each packet and also a handy slip to inform you when you are 5 papers away from running out. The pack contains a piece of green card which can be quite useful for making your own filters and unlike some brands the packet is not too thick to roll effectively either.

All of you binhead fans out there (the game involving skinning a lid for a pint glass and burning holes untill the penny drops, also known as the rizla game) theese papers are fairly good. They are not too thick as to proove difficult to burn through, but not too thin to allow for giant holes to grow. the nature of the glue means that burns will follow theese lines, but not to the extent of thinner papers.

      Conclusions:
Blue rizla are a good all rounder, sold almost everywhere and quality is gaurenteed. Although many people do in time find a brand that they prefer I do not know anyone who would object to using a Blue, which does happen with other papers. They are advised for those of you who are able to roll to any ability level and have a generally nice smoke.

I will also be posting reviews for many other papers over the coming week so if you are interessted in knowing more about thicker or thinner papers or papers of different lengths be sure to check them out.
