I thought silk cut were pointless but i can understand people smoking them when trying to quit. However slik cut ULTRA are the non smokers equivelent to air. If you are trying to quit i belive that they are pointless. rather than smoking less you will just end u spending horrific amounts of money buying Silk cut ultra (cos lets face it they aint the cheapest brand) and smoking a trillion bizillion a day. if you are seriously trying to quit i suggest something like a niccorete inhaler if you fell you really cant do without the niccotine, otherwise just cut down at a pace you can handle untill you are not smoking at all. I have tryed Quiting compleatly in the past, but i ... Read the complete review

I'd like to start by clearing up a few myths about lite or ultra lite cigarettes: Approximately two weeks after you make the change from Full-Strength to Silk Cut Ultra you will 1/Smoke the same quantity as before 2/Inhale the same way as before 3/Get the SAME LEVEL OF SATASFACTION AS BEFORE. In fact you will hardly notice the difference(think of it like you were making the change from a very strong cigarette such as Sweet Afton to a Full-Strength like Malboro). The real trouble is getting through the two week period which for me required a fare measure of endurance because it felt as if I was smoking paper during this time. In short during this time I blocked the filter ... Read the complete review

People may think that these are useless, but I really think that these are one of the nicest cigarettes. I have been trying to give up, and these could probably help me do that (eventually). They are expensive and probably a waste of time, but I do like them. I wish that there are some lighter ones if anyone can believe that!! I still smoke about 10 sometimes 15 per day of these things, but nothing else will do. The only problem is that they are not as strong as you need if you have just come from full-strentgh cigarettes - 1mg tar and 0.1mg nicotine to be exact. They are more for the person who is trying to quit, but still needs to smoke ... Read the complete review

Now if you are indeed a smoker like myself. this brand of cigarette has to be one of the most pointless things I have ever smoked. I thought with recently falling ill with chest problems that I should move onto something a bit lighter, or quit but I will get round to that later, so I went out and bought some of these Silk Cut Ultra Low and I’ve regretted it ever since. In order to feel the satisfaction of having a cigarette you must smoke the entire packet, that is if your throat will take the pressure of sucking on them so hard to feel you’ve had a decent drag. I think I would enjoy smoking a pool cue more than these. Now for people who are trying to quit then quit ... Read the complete review
