Disadvantages: slow suicide, terrible smell, 2nd hand smoke kills

Smoking is one of the worst addictions I can think of because it is not outlawed so people continue to be able to do it one whatever scale they so please without ANY federal legislation against it!! I am a fervent anti-smoker... not just because my sinuses and fervently anti-smoke, but also because it smells terrible and leaves you coming out of pubs and closed public spaces smelling terribly (which, by the way, takes at least 2 showers to come out of your hair), but also because it's damaging to the teeth, to the lungs, makes every cold you have much worse, and the smoke can spread to others who would never pick up a cigarrette in their life. I have family members who have died from lung cancer and that is enought to make me hate it. I made my mother, my aunt, and my boyfriend stop smoking. And I feel that something needs to be done. Outlawing smoking will probably have the same effects as outlawing marijuana, but people really need to get the point that they are slowly killing themselves off every puff they take! That's enough for me not to want to smoke.
And, by the way, cheers to the anti-smoking campaigns who are coming out with what I think are quite good.
PS ...it's NOT relaxing. It may seem like that in the first seconds, but it actually speeds up the blood to get additional air to the lungs.
