Advantages: Easy to use, good quality

Disadvantages: May be far too skinny for some people

Ok so I'm a smoker. Although I don't condone it or suggest it to people as a hobby or anything it is my choice to smoke! I do smoke pre-rolled cigarettes though sometimes financially I will try to cut back a bit and will roll my own and even have a little machine to do so.

Filter tips are not something I have always used and only recently I have purchased some. Basically to have a point to smoke to but also to keep out a few toxins (apparently). Not only can you purchase plain filter tips but flavoured one's are out and about too but I thought for now I would stick to plain before becoming too adventurous!

The Packaging:

The filters come in a bright yellow box. On the front of the box there is a picture of a swan and I am of course told that they are Swan Filter Tips and in my box that there are 120 pre cut filters. Other information on the box includes being told about other products from within the Swan range and contact details for the manufacturer are given. Inside you get tubes of filters in clear plastic packaging that you simply pop out to use.

The Filters:

These particular one's are pure white and thin and tube shaped in their appearance. As I just mentioned they come in like tubes and you get 6 filters you simply pop out as you go along out of a plastic covering which simply is to keep them clean and its easy to do that as they are cut well.

All you do with these is then make your own cigarette of course, inserting one of the filter tips into one end. I find my cigarette to be easily rolled by hand with one of these but equally as good as in my machine. They really do present no problems at all.

Smoking with these in is actually better on a few levels. The first reason its good to use a filter tip is that your hands don't get so stained with yellow. The second is that bits of tobacco don't enter your mouth as your smoking as the filter tip stops that and of course a few people suggest that smoking with a filter tip in cuts down on the intake of tar.

These are a good quality filter tip and one I shall continue to use though do be aware that these are very slim filter tips indeed and so do make skinny fags opposed to ones looking shop bought! Very good Swan..I'm impressed by these!

Expect to pay about 99p a box for these in most supermarkets and convenience stores etc.

Summary: A brilliant filter tip!
