Advantages: Helps against teeth staining
Disadvantages: too minty, no benefits
Yes shock horror (if you read my reviews you will know this) i am a smoker and i am not ashamed about it at all.
I started smoking whilst at university and then i was smoking straights (cigarettes to the none initiated) well as you can guess a student cant afford such luxary as real cigarettes so i took the natural course into rolling my own.
I started with flavoured tobacco and i was using the bits left on my rizla to make filters and i found this both harsh on my lungs but also staining on my teeth so i needed a solution
Filter tips, wow, what a idea they give you all you need from a cigarette without the cost of buying a actual pack so i thought yeah and i bought my first pack of filters. At first they were a pain to to get used to but due to the skills i had learnt as a student i quickly became able to use them.
Then i tried this product, wow, i really do not see the point in menthol cigarettes let alone a filter tip which is essentially a fragrant plug in to your roll up.
The idea is commendable because surprisingly there is a lot of people who smoke menthol's but to me i find the whole thing pointless, i know i have a disgusting habit and i want it to remain that way i dont need it tasting or smelling like something it just doesnt mean anything,
these things come in 75p per pack of 150, or £5 for a box of 10 individual packs which is about the same price as normal filter tips so why you would chose these is a question of your own morality than a desire to quit or for health reasons.
If there was a proven reason that these help the smoker id perhaps given them more credit but to me they are a lame way to hide the fact you have been smoking from a loved one by having overly minty breath.. Now is that fooling you? its certainly not fooling me
Summary: A pointless venture
