It did set us back a few extra pounds for the batteries which luckily we have found to last quite a long time otherwise the running of this vehicle could become very costly. The bus is designed for children over the age of eighteen months. We gave it to our son for his first birthday and although he enjoyed it and managed to work it, he struggled to steer the bus in the correct way although he did manage to find the buttons which make the noises!

The product itself is based on a character from the children's 'wheels on the bus series'. Its usual cost is £19.99 (as of February 2009), however we were very lucky to be able to purchase it for half price at £9.99. The toy comes in two parts, the bus and the wireless steering wheel. It runs on eight AA batteries which unfortunately unless you purchase your own are not rechargeable.
