Corgi Faiery Swordfish Mk 1 HMS Malaya ... meticulously researched and authenticated by Corgi to create a finely detailed model aircraft. Crafted with great attention to detail, this model is the Worlds first full rigged die-cast model. When World the UK from War II broke out, 13 FAA squadrons were equipped with Swordfish bombers, all but one were based on carriers. Two special squadrons equipped with Swordfish floatplanes were assigned to Royal Navy battleships - these were Catapult Flights Nos. 701 and 702. HMS Malaya operated with the Home Fleet and assisted the carriers in defending the UK from German naval threats in the North Sea.
