      Very helpful

      great toy but better if purchased with other sets to get most play

      * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ Introduction ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

      My now 2 year old is obsessed with mickey mouse, so ive purchased most playsets for him (2 are put away for christmas). He got the rocket in november for his 2nd birthday. I got the rocket on sale to 22.00 which i felt was a very good price as most other shops were still selling it for 35.00. All of the playsets look unisex with a variety of colours which i feel my little boy will love.

      * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ What's In The Box? ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

      Space car
      Mickey Mouse figure (bends at the waist)

      * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ The Rocket ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

      The rocket takes 3 x AAA batteries which can be located inside the rocket where the car goes. The measurements are as follows: H33 W37.2 D16.7 cm. Its light to carry around at just over 1.7 kilograms.

      The rocket looks impressive in a large bright coloured box. The item itself is also very bright with a variety of colours, (blue, yellow, green and red with a yellow base), its also unisex so great for either boys or girls. Its quite light to carry around and has a chunky yellow handle for littleones to carry, it also has a little lock on the front to keep it closed.

      The rocket comes with a little green car with moving wheels and a mickey mouse figure that has a little red space outfit on. The top of the rocket turns around and has a little door that opens showing a seat for mickey to sit on. It has little cut out shapes showing stars including a 2 windows in the red section, the inside is very detailed to give the appearance of a real rocket, it has 4 little 'shelves' for the figures to stand (although it does only have 1 figure...perhaps to hint at you buying more!)

      The rocket doesnt do much at all....pressing the blue mickey mouse shapped button on the handle you will hear:
      'Mickey Mouska Mickey Mousetranaut'
      '3,2,1' with a sound effect of a rocket
      'all systems are go'
      The yellow base of the toy also lights up

      * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ In Play ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

      The playset is basic but with great detail to engage interest, my 2 year old can easily play with this playset alone with no help needed, he can open the door, which will come down to turn into a ramp, to allow the green space car to drive up into the space rocket. The Mickey Mouse bends at the waist so my son can easily bend mickey mouse to sit him in his car to drive him around. Pressing the red button the handle pushes the car off of the track from inside the rocket. Oscar has other Mickey Mouse play sets so he has everything out to play at the same time, he doesn't yet use the rocket as a rocket but just as another part of his little village he has with other Mickey play sets.

      * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ My Thoughts ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

      The above is all it actually does, i was expecting a little more for my money to be honest. Like other toys purchased it was brought on sale (22.00 from amazon instead of the 35.00) so im glad i didnt pay full price.

      My little boy loves it, sometimes he will play with it as a whole playset, and other times he will just push Mickey Mouse around in his car and other times just play with the rocket making it fly around.

      My little boy also got the mickey mouse clubhouse playset so he plays with both together (i have got the mickey mouse campervan and farm to add to the collection for christmas) so i think i will get many years use out of the playsets. Because the rocket hardly does anything i think if we just owned that it would soon get pushed to one side simply because it doesnt doo much, the other sets will add to its play value....which could work out costly when you work out what each set retails at.

      Bottom line, my little boy loves it! Even his 4year old brother has had a play with it but im glad i got it on sale.
