The Space Marines are the elite protectors of the Imperium in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

This kit consists of a single Space Marine bike. The front of the box contains art work showing an example of the bike in the background of the game, the back shows a photograph with an example paint scheme complete with list of needed colours. This helps the beginner know where to start rather than having to pick and choose colours to use and leading to some potentially ugly clashes!

Opening the box reveals a number of sprues where the bike is constructed from, a craft knife and polystyrene cement are required to assemble the vehicle properly although as a short term solution the model can just about pop together a bit like a Kinder Egg toy though this wouldn't last long.

The model is well designed and fits together with ease when applied with a bit of glue, allowing the maker to either place it on the supplied base, or to leave it baseless and have the wheels free spinning. It really is a matter of preference although I suspect from a gamers view most will prefer the base for a bit of stability. Priced around £6 from Games Workshop it's not the cheapest model available but it's certainly one of them, and worth it if you want a fast hard hitting unit in your army.
