      Very helpful

not overly fun as a single piece

Hot Wheels trick Tracks Dinosaur Tail Bash.....

This is jacks only piece of Hot wheels track and although it is a small piece, he enjoys to play with it as it combines hit love for dinosaurs with his love for cars and makes him laugh each time he sets off the trick.

The hot Wheels Tail Bash was selling in Matalan a few months back when I purchased it for around the £4.50 pence region and was claiming to be a half price offer. I have since looked on the internet and although it is not a widely available toy, it is selling for around £10, so we did get a good price on it.

The toy consists of a few parts and was easy to assemble once we got the outer box open and torn into the inner plastic bags. There was a small sheet of instructions which give a round idea of how to put the Hot Wheels together although it was pretty simple this wasn't really needed.

The main part of the toy is a dinosaur (Anklyosaurus) skeleton which sits on an orange track with a bowl in front of him. There are two other parts of orange track which fit on to the front and back of the dinosaur coming off at a 90 degree angle to it. The pieces of track can be slotted on and off easily and really this is the only section of the toy that needs building.

There is a small green Hot Wheels car that comes with the dinosaur skeleton and this looks pretty cool with a bright green paint colour and detail that makes it appear to be a fast super car.

The idea of the toy is that you put the car up at the dinosaurs tail which has been pulled back and then you press a button which is by the dinosaurs food bowl which sends the tail bashing into the car and thus pushing the car down the track at a fast rate.

The toy is overall pretty good and has been made to a good standard. It has only limited fun on its own but as it is a toy which can be joined to all the other Hot Wheels tracks, it will possibly improve when there are more sections of the track in place.

Jack does like to play with it and squeals with delight each time the car is thrown off the track and down our hallway and the car does seem to cruise off easily. I am pretty sure we will add to the Hot Wheels collection which will make this toy even more fun to play with. But as it stands it is a fair little toy which wasn't too much money.

All in all I feel a 3 star rating is in order for this product. It has only a limited amount of fun when purchased on its own but I can see it being a hit if combined with similar items.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.

Many thanks for taking the time to read.
