We got our Teamsters Emergency Rescue Boat for about £4 from our local factory outlet shop, but there are places you can buy it online from places like Ocado for £4.99 too. I think anything around the £5 or £6 mark is a reasonable price for this children's toy. If you paid up to £10 for it I don't think you'll feel cheated.
The Teamsters Emergency Rescue Boat consists of both a paramedic's car vehicle and a rescue boat attached to the back of it on a little trailer. You can unhook the trailer and remove the boat too, so really this is a little play set rather than just a plain boring vehicle.
The car is made from a good mix of metal and plastic, to keep costs down while still being robust and well constructed. The blue lights on top start flashing when you press the car down, and at the same, the sirens wail. The details on this are nice, with lots of little extras like the medical sign and realistic looking headlights.
The trailer is a bit plasticky and cheap, but the boat it's carrying is a fun little thing. It's not intended for use with Lego men - but I can tell you that they fit nicely! I'm sure there are other popular figures out there that would fit nicely as well. The only downside is that you can only sit figures in the boat, you can't open the car doors to get them inside this vehicle like you can with some of the others from this range.
This is a nice little set that I recommend. It's so much better quality than you'd expect for the price, and it's well constructed with lots of fun detail too. It loses a star for having a cheap trailer and no opening car doors though! I like this, but I think some of the other models in the series come up slightly better on play value and price.
