This is another of the Animal Hospital sets which my daughter has. This set comes in a fairly large box with the Animal Hospital logo on the front of it. As I have said in my previous review this set was made following the Animal Hospital series which was on the BBC between 1994 and 2004.

This is one of the later sets which has become available as it is a safari set which includes a lion, a monkey and a hippo. In this set you also get the helicopter, a helicopter landing mat, a vet, a stethoscope, bucket and sponge, laptop, clipboard, sticker plaster and bandages bucket and sponge, microscope, vets bag and the attachments for the helicopter sling. As you can see this should hopefully be everything a vet will need to make the animals better.

I can't remember if it is all the animals in this set or just some of them but if you dab certain parts of their body with ice cold water what looks like a small patch of blood appears. To make the animal better you need to make them warm and stick a plaster or bandage on to the area. My daughter loves the idea of this as she can make them better although some parents who I have talked to have been horrified at this!

Personally I think this is another great Animal Hospital set which lets my child feel as if she has some responsibility over the welfare of these animals.

I had difficulty finding this when I was looking for a current price but I found it on the Toys R Us website for £14.99.
