... for children from aged 3 and I would agree that is probably about right. I remember buying this toy from a small local toy shop although really cant remember how much I paid. It is now on sale for around £12 and is available to buy from several online retailers including Amazon. I bought this when my son was 4 and he played with it constantly along with his train set. The batteries have never needed to be replaced ,although they are now no longer working!

When my son was younger he was obsessed with trains! His favourite toy was his extensive wooden Brio train set . As part of the train set I bought him a small Brio fire engine;after all no village and train track are complete without a fire engine! My son is now long past the train stage,but we still have his train set and the little wooden fire engine that was so well played with. As this toy is still available I though I would review it! The fire engine is made by Brio;a company that have been involved in making wooden toys since 1958. It is really well constructed and even after years of play is still in excellent condition.
