Choo, chho its nana playing with Adrian’s Brio trains again. This time I am playing with the brio steam engine, its not one made to look like a train from the Thomas series of books and its not one of the special models but it is what you expect a steam train to look like.

Brio was founded by Ivar Bengtsson a Swedish basket maker in 1884 , the first toys were made in 1907 . The brio train sets have been available for about 45 years. Brio trains are well made and look good.

This is made from wood of course a traditional train its painted red and black with a yellow funnel.
This steam engine measures 3.4 inches/ 10 cm long.
This train will fit on the wooden brio tracks that Adrian has and the cheaper wooden tesco tracks.
Nana pushes the steam train along the straight bits around a right handed curve whoosh she is getting a steam up. ……….. The wheels go round and the pistons move faster and faster. This train is nana powered not battery or electric powered. We get to the station so Nana has to stop for a rest and sip of tea .Adrian takes over driving the steam train. Ohhohh there’s a cow on the track Adrian. he stops the train and puts it back on to the field (carpet ) Adrian says he is taking his train to the seaside.
There are so many imaginary games that you can play with this train; you could always put a few cowboys and Indians around it and raid the train. It looks like a train that might exist then.

Brio train sets and trains are super they do look like the real thing. These trains will last for years they will become heirlooms to be passed on to the next generation.

This train and Brio train sets are suitable for a child aged about 3.They will get years of fun from this toy.

Recommended price is $9.99amazon are selling it for$6.99 or £4.99 on the uk site. Toys are us sell it for £4.99 in fact most places I looked it was £4.99p
