      a investment

My nephew loves Chugginton he watches it on Cbeebies and CBBC in the mornings, he was starting to grow out of his baby toys so for Christmas I got him the Chuggington Bridge and Tunnel Starter Set.

This is an easy to assemble track that is interactive so certain components in the pack talk to each other via smart talk to bring this toy alive. This set comes with 23 pieces although there are other sets with track and trains that you can purchase over a period of time to build up your set if you wish.

The track goes into a figure of eight with a bridge that you can raise to allow the train around the track. This track comes with Brewester the blue engine and if you turn him on along with the bridge and tunnel as he goes past he talks to them with phrases such as its dark or singing chuggington to name a few of the many phrases available.

We also purchased KoKo and Wilson to go with this and they all work in sync really well together and allow my nephew hours of fun pushing his trains round the track as they talk to each other. The more you build the set the more phrases are created.
The Train, Bridge and Tunnel require AA batteries and it is great as the set comes with them all installed
unlike a lot of toys that you buy.

This is recommended not suitable for children under 36 months due to the small parts that are in the box. I think this was on Special offer when I purchased it from Tesco for £15 and I then purchased the trains for a further £10 each. I have looked on Argos and this is half price at the moment for £18.49, which I think is a great bargain.

This is great you can set the track up however you like it can be small or larger and the pieces are easy to click together and then take apart again. Over the next few years I will be buying more trains and track so we can build new bigger and better tracks.

There is only one disadvantage and that is that you have to make sure that you turn everything off at the switches when packing away as it wastes the battery life and you could also find when you are sitting there quietly they may start reacting to each other and talk.

A great choice when shopping becareful as there are the interactive range and also a die cast range, you do not want to mix up the two.
