      Advantages

      Disadvantages

This is a fun toy with the actual Dunbar voice from Chuggington

      WHAT IS IT?

An engine from Chuggington called Dunbar.  He speaks when you press a button and his lights flash.  When Dunbar meets other engines from the Chuggington interactive range he talks to them and says lots of different phrases if you have a few of the others from the set.

      THE DESIGN

Dunbar looks exactly like he does on the Chuggington show and this train features his real voice.  He can turn in different directions because the wheels are not fixed into one position.  The train has got a coupling so that you can fit carriages to it for more fun.

      DURABILITY

The Dunbar engine feels quite flimsy and it is made of very thin plastic.  It cannot stand to be banged or thrown round because the corners will chip and the engine will crack sometimes, this is the same with all of these Chuggington interactIve trains.  The batteries do not last for very long either unless you remember to turn it off every time you put it away.

      WHAT I THINK

I think Dunbar is a very good train because it is easy to work even for very young children and he is fun when you make him talk to the other engines.  The interactive part is effective and it usually works very well, I like how clear the speech is from the train as well because even though Dunbar has got a Scottish accent you can hear what he's saying.

He is not very well made in a way because it is easy to damage the engine plastic but the wheels and other parts are strong.  I like how Dunbar moves about because the wheels turn in a circle so he goes in some funny directions sometimes. It fits on some wooden railways systems but not all so you should check if he will work on yours before you buy it if you only want trains that work together.

      ANYTHING ELSE

The Dunbar engine costs about £5 but if you buy it you know you need to buy more because it is quite boring on it's own and needs another Chuggington train or part of the large play set to interact with.
