“ Brand: ELC / Type: Train Set „
My 4 Year old loves Fire Engines and Thomas so when we saw an episode featuring a new engine call Flynn that was a Fire Engine i had a look on the internet and saw that there was a Take n Play one to buy. Flynn is also in the Thomas Feature film 'Day of the Diesels'.
When it arrived i was disappointed in quite a few things.
Firstly if you have other Take n Play Trains they are good solid and metal and although advertised as Diecast this one is alot more plastic in places.
It is noticeably more lighter than other trains in the collection
The picture of this train is deceiving as it shows that he has 2 raised hoses at the front however on the actual train the hoses are flat and cannot be moved.
With all the other trains they have a magnet at the front and back so they can be connected . This train has only one at the back and one on the additional truck, which means that these 2 pieces can be connected but no other engine can be connected
The whole of the additional truck is plastic.
I am disappointed in the quality and this is definitely the worst one in the collection. Having said that, my child has not noticed and plays with it as much as the others.
My rating is lower because of the quality being poor and yet it is still the same price as other engines These toys are used with the Diescast Thomas trains which i also like as they do not break easily (if at all) and they all have magnets to connect together
