Percy is made out of a die cast metal and plastic mix. His main engine body is made from metal and is well detailed and authentic looking. You can instantly tell who he is meant to be. He has a light green paint effect to finish him off and his number 6 is displayed in yellow with red out lining.

Its hard to believe that a simple concept such as the one involving Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends, living and working on the fictional island of Sodar could bring so much happiness to so many children. The little characters have been so well thought out and have so much charm, that you cannot fail to like them. One of the main characters who lives on the island is Percy. Percy has been immortalized by Ertl who have made a really nice little model of Percy for children everywhere to collect and enjoy owning.
