For those of you who remember the recall of wooden Thomas products a couple of years back, I can assure you that I have checked carefully every item we own and none were on the recall list. It was primarly red paint that was affected anyway, and while this product has a bright red base and top of the water tank, they are both plastic, so need for worries.

Ages 1 -10 This is a brilliant addition to an existing wooden train set. The tower is filled with blue water ( or some type of liquid). When the spout is upright the tower is full, but if you lower the spout to give the train a drink the water level empties as if the train is really using it up. It definately adds a nice appearance to wooden train layout, and gives the children another activity when playing.
