      THE FUN BIT

We purchased this play set after our children watched the film. Take and play sets usually fold up quite small and are easy for little hands to carry but this one seemed quite bulky in comparison to some others we have.

It is very easy to set up and took all of 5 minutes until the boys had decided we were no longer needed and they could do it by themselves.

The track itself is the usual sturdy quality that I have come to expect from the take and play sets. Owen the incline engine which pulls Thomas up the 'mountain' however is very easily broken and only lasted a few weeks in our house before he would no longer pull Thomas up. The location of the turn table underneath and the angle of the connectors make it quite tricky to add to other sets.

All in all a good set but could use some tweaking, mainly with the incline engine
