Advantages: Fun to play with.

Disadvantages: The batteries don't last long.

This is similar to a cyber pet, but you can choose which Digimon you want to have out of eight. It comes in different colours and is supposed to look like the Digivices that the Digi-destined have on Digimon. You have to 'walk' your Digimon, and battle evil Digimon when you come across them. When you have cleared a level of evil Digimon, then you go to the next level. You can also gain or lose distance traveled by playing different games within the Digivice.

My eight year old found it fun and could operate all of the different function and games. My five year old found it a bit too difficult (although he had to have one when his brother got one!) and kept on getting me to walk it and give it medical when he lost battles.

Two Digivices can be attached to each other for your Digimon to battle someone else's.

We had fun with these for about two weeks, then the batteries ran out! The batteries that they take are small round ones and cost £1.49 each. Each Digivice takes two batteries, so if these only last two weeks as well, then that means that they cost £1.49 a week to run (unless you can manage to find cheaper batteries - I am still looking), which is a lot of money.
