Advantages: Great theme tune

Disadvantages: I think it's confusing but then i would!!

Well yes it is really isn't it? DIGI/POKE!!! not alot of difference in the evolving and the digivolving!!, but it works!, my little girl loves it and watches both of the "mon" cartoons happily, I personally would say that Digimon is more of a boys cartoon than a girls just because it appears a bit darker and has more dark backgrounds and loud music (that's not to say girls won't like it but i think it's more aimed at boys) and even down to the toy packaging, whereas your poke of the mon variety is more floaty and neutral and i would say aimed at both boys and girls.


I do like Digimon it makes me laugh sometimes how theese kids get stuck in places like the bottom of the sea and then it's ok because a little dulux dog with tusks will save them from the 60 foot sea monster waiting for them.

But from a kids angle (and lets face it it's not meant for us oap's)<====joke!

If my daughter is anything to go off then it's a hit, she looks forward to it everyday and is a proud owner of the movie (the first one as no doubt they are preparing about 100 more), and she has watched it more times than any of her others, and she likes to make me join her for at least 10 mins of a day to go "digicrazy".

The one thing I would like to say though, and this may just be me!, but alot of the characters look the same!!! but do on close inspection have different names!, perhaps they too are confused after spending too much time in the digiworld!!, but as a whole yes another cute Japaniese cartoon marketed till it's dry!, but what can we mere parents do when our children are DIGICRAZY?????
