My cousins son is 3 years old and he completely loves Fireman Sam and anything to do with him. When the cartoon comes on the tv, he will just stop what hes doing and stand on the spot and watch the whole thing in silence with his mouth open lol It was coming up to his birthday so i decided to have a look and see if i could buy him something Fireman Sam related. These are one thing that I would avoid buying. My 4 year old got them as a gift as she adores fireman sam but I have to say they are the worst present she has ever had. They look great and feel okay but they are supposed to be real walkie talkies and that they are not. The are bright and exciting looking wirh a belt clip on the back and flexible antenna but that is where the positives end. At first we thought that the batteries were just not strong enough to make them work but after replacing them with more expensive ones it quickly became apparent just how poor quality they are - they are barely audible even when in the same room and the ... My three year old son recently received this Born to Play Fireman Sam Intercom Set as an early Christmas gift from a relative. In the set you get two Walkie Talkies that are made of hard moulded coloured plastic. Both the walkie Talkies have a black flexible Ariel. They are mostly red and black in colour and have yellow coloured buttons and the speaker is also coloured yellow. Although there appear to be four buttons to press on the walkie Talkies only two actually work and the rest are purely for decoration.
