Hot Wheels V-Drop Super Velocity Track Set: ... got this set for my son who was well pleased when he opened it all up. I set up the v-drop, this is like a vertical drop you can hang over a door or something and the cars do a death defying fall before flying off really high. The track is a 7-foot drop, has an elevator for the car and a pretend flaming ring which you are supposed to get the car to jump through. Because you can connect different tracks, a reall...

DavyMichelle Bob The Builder Friction Packer
... our grandson needed something to take to a birthday party as a present and we had a look in Tesco while we were doing our weekly shop. It was me and the daughter on duty this week so fortunately there was someone on hand who had a vague idea of what kids these days are into! We looked at these Bob The Builder vehicles because the series is extremely popular with 2 to 6 year olds and the vehicles were mostly on half price in our local Tesco too. Normally this would be around £10 but it was less than £5 in the sale which we thought was a bargain and a really nice birthday present for a four year old too. We had a look at it before we decided on it and noted...

shroud Bob The Builder Friction Scrambler
... a couple of pounds more. All in all, this toy has given my son many hours of fun, and is still regularly played with. Whether pretending Bob and the gang are on a building mission, or that Scrambler is visiting his Hot Wheels buddies in Carland on the play mat, off for a holiday at radiator Springs to spend time with his buddies from Cars, it s often seen giving hours of imaginative playtime fun for my son and his friends. It just goes to show it doesn t have to have a remote control, make sounds, have flashing lights, or anything else flashy to be a lot of fun. So if you have a young Bob fan and are looking for great play value, this is one toy that you will get far ...

cmh4135 Postman Pat Friction Van
... toys seem to prove extremely popular with children, even, as we ve noticed, if they ve never seen the programme to which the character relates. In our house this is particularly the case for a certain tank-engine and the very friendly Postman Pat (together with his black and white cat, Jess). The Postman Pat friction van is a good example of where form takes precedence over function - in my eyes it s a deeply deficient toy; in my son s it s just great! The van is made from bright red moulded plastic, and is about 17cm long and 12cm tall. It s designed to be a good replica of the van that is used on the TV show and bears the number plate "PAT 1". T...
