Form a parent's perspective, the product was rather expensive. Also, its rather flimsy construction (a surprise given the undoubted quality of most of the Character Options range) makes it difficult to handle. the worst aspect was the cardboard interior/exterior panels: my son is not a destructive boy by any means but the cardboard got into such a bad state that I had to throw it away after a couple of years wear and tear....more

Surely the centrepiece of any Doctor Who fan's collection, I bought this (rather pricey) playset for my son a couple of years ago as his obsession with grew to mammoth proportions. As with most of the Character Options range, it is well sculpted, has some fine details and is very well painted.
