Ballet: ... I have finally found something on ballet! I have to admit it is probably my most favourite thing to do in the world!! I started dance class when I was just 3 years old and at 21, I am still dancing. At the moment I am training to become a ballet teacher and will sit my exam in the summer. Then I hope to gain teaching certificates in modern and jazz also. The exams are very expensive and you have to pay for your...

... am the kind of person who WILL NOT DANCE. I always offer to mind the bags/coats. That was until my sister dragged me to a salsa party and I reluctantly went, feeling sure I d sit and watch the dancing. We got there and she refused to let me sit. She danced with me all night until I had the basic step. I quite enjoyed it and so went to a lesson or two. Now I am hooked. You do have to work through that ugly duckling phase everyone goes through. You ll feel uncoordinated and feel some sense of inferiority when you look at those seasoned dancers who look so fabulous with their fancy moves and fast spins. I remember thinking "oh i wish I could dance like them, but I g...

... s amazing how adverts on the television can affect our children, well that s why they show toy adverts on cartoon channels isn t it? It s my youngest daughter s birthday next week and her Nan had phoned her up to ask what she wanted, and she had just happened to see an advert for the Jump Dancer and decided that it was the one toy she wanted more than any other. So she asked her Nan, and duly received it. Now it s not her birthday until Sunday, but as she knew what she was getting anyway, her kind Nan said she could open it straight away. ~~~What s a Jump Dancer?~~~ Now most of you guys are going to have no idea what I m talking about here, but something us girls used...

charlhrdy Ballet
... is for little girls, for the ones who love pink. For all those who want to be princesses. My niece has just started ballet with the local dance school, she loves it. All we hear is ballet this & ballet that. Today we did this, this is how you do first, and we skip & sing. They do it all, and it doesn t matter if half the class are running round doing their own thing, they are still doing ballet and this is what little girls should do. Although they don t need the outfits, the shoes etc they want it, and it goes with the whole ballet scene, it can be expensive. My niece got her tap shoes from a sale of out grown ones at the ballet class, so it is wo...
