One of the great things about the resurgence of interest in DOCTOR WHO over the last few years has been the development of the merchandise available relating to the programme. When I used to watch the programme as a child I always wished for really exciting toys, like Daleks that could move, and indeed that I could move myself. Now that day is here, and I am able to pretend that I have my own real Dalek.

This remote control Dalek is a joy to behold and my entire family have enjoyed playing with it, ranging from my 4 year old nephew, right up to my 86 year old aunt. It is great to see people smiling when using it.

The materials used in the production of the toy are of excellent quality, and it certainly seems that the item will last many years of regular play. It has even survived being attacked by my cat when she went for it when it was trying to terrorise her (without being under my own control of course, I wouldn't really do that to my cat).

Anyway, this is an essential purchase for anyone who loves DOCTOR WHO and has always wished that they had their own personal Dalek to control.
