Advantages: Easy to use

Disadvantages: A lot of money for a dog which does so little

My daughter is only 2.5 years but even at this age very determined about what she wants for Xmas....as well as a Barbie bike she was adamant that she wanted a Dog-E, a Poo Chi wouldn't do for my little angel 'it doesn't walk ' she informed me (she knows more than I do) and she wanted a remote control dog she could take for a walk...it had to be a Dog-E.
For those that haven't experienced the Dog-E its a remote control, grey plastic looking dog which is about the size of a small terrier and on wheels moves back and forward, growls, barks and carries it's bone. It's eyes also flash and it can be used as a room guard. It also comes with a little food bowl which it makes eating noises at...wow, big deal and all these amazing functions for the small cost of £60....£60 pound !!!!!!
Well fool I am I bought one the other day for her for xmas and my hubbie and I got it out and were both very dissapointed. The remote control would make it easy for my daughter to use but we came to the quick conclusion that this dog was one major rip off and the next day I took it back to the shop for a refund. Instead we bought her a small walking dog from Woolworths which cost £10. Hopefully by Xmas she will have forgotten all about Dog-E.

Poppy, thank you , my little treasure wanted one! I know they arent dogs but Tommy do a remote controled "alien" which is really good fun, its well made, brightly coloured, remote is big enough for little hands to do, its in Argos and the ELC.
